Dear Javascript hackers,
I wanted to make a slideshow and I got this script from google. But I
find it somewhat ugly. Can someone give me a better alternative and also
explain what is going on? Thanks a million.
You could use S5 for creating JavaScript+CSS based slide shows.

Thanks a lot Prashanth. Check my last e-mail.
I have a bunch of digital fotos taken either from my cell phone or digital
camera. I want to share it with my friends/relatives.
What does a guy do? Publish it in yahoo! fotos. Eeek! Not good at all.
The better alternative is www.flickr.com
Now, nobody has the patience to click on the fotos one after another. So ppl
want a slideshow, an automated one with sensible timeout, say 4 seconds.
And the problem with flick is it reduces the image size drastically. I dont
want that. At the same time I dont want u to click and drag the scrollbars also.
IOW, just display the fotos one after another, that is all. Without any resizing
or processing.
Simple, isnt it?
Whenever we hackers design a technical solution, the first thing that shud come
to our minds is the psychology of the end user.
Does the user really want this feature?
Am I making things really complicated for him/her to use?
Best way is to develop something and ask for feedback.
Still better is to wear the dumb user hat urself and think.
What do I want the program to do for me? :-)
love,
Girish
