*Question 3a)* We at ILUGC revolve around engineering college predominantly,
I am sure you will agree that, innovative and inspirational minds stays in
engg polytechnics, arts and science college too
Yes, we everyone agree on the above, all the innovative and inspirational
minds stays in polytechnics and arts and science colleges. There is an Arts
& science college for Women in Madurai, Polytechnics in Thanjavur/Namakkal,
were they almost exclusively use only Linux/FOSS for most of the lab
practicals, which was implemented and supported by us since 2007. (There is
more Linux/FOSS in polytechnics, arts and science colleges than in
engineering colleges).
how do we fill this digital divide?
We need to have a foundation/society like "Free Software Society of India",
were we can pull all these educational institutions towards "Free /Open
Source Software" to fill this digital divide.
