[Ilugc] Laptop with Ubuntu

I recently bought an acer laptop which comes preloaded with linux. I
had spent 38000 on the laptop. But the linux which came preloaded is
just a simple version. You can format the harddisk and install ubuntu
on that.
I too have one.. But the hardware is very cheap, and not reliable..
After some time my optical drive stopped working, and my cpu fan
developed problems.. I plan to replace it with a Thinkpad. If you can
afford a bit, TP's are the way to go...
