This is apparently caused by his giving his gmail password to that
earthscreen site. The earthscreen site then logs into his gmail account
and sends this out to everybody in his address book.



You are 100 % right.  Got such an invitation from a good friend of mine who
didn't mail me for a looooooong time. Accepted it and  the rest is history

I didn't see this earthscreen thing before or else  I would have accpeted.


I would suggest at least a temporary suspension of people who send this
to the list.
