[Ilugc] Mapping keys

In windows the Window key in the keyboard is mapped to the start
menu button. Is it possible to similarly map the window key to
the Applications menu of Gnome?
Yes. Check the keymap option in the Gnome menu.
Where is the key map option? do u mean gnome-keybinding-properties ?
in that too you cant assign the Window key to any function :(
Main Menu -> Preferences -> KB Shortcuts -> Select "Show the panel
menu"
then press the Win Key and close.
