I am on Fedora Core 3. I followed the instruction on

However i Still seem to be having problems. The modem I am having is the
TeraGate U100 (GlobeSpan ADSL USB modem). I got this from my ISP Airtel.
When I run startmodem, the following output is printed on screen. Please
help. Is this a problem with my Modem or of my configuration? However, the
modem works fine on Windows XP. Moreover. When I probe my modem. The VID1
settings is shown as 0f70 rather than the 0915 shown in the above link. Will
this setting change from build to build?
