although I welcome the resolution of the problem and the formation of the new
list, I also wish to state that it is a very sad state of affairs that on an
Indian list, Indian language posts are banned. If some members had only
followed the repeated requests of the majority of members, and if they had
tagged their mails this necessity of banning and forming a separate list would
not have arisen. I now I see that the person responsible for this sad state of
affairs has been 'rewarded' by being made list admin of the new list - how a
person who has shown total disregard for the viewpoints of others can be fit to
be an admin of a list is something I cannot understand. I have serious
objections to this and I request the LUG to reconsider this decision.
