This is a Chennai-Tamilnadu based mailing list & there are people interested
in expressing their FOSS related activites and events they conduct in Tamil.
This is ilugc which is based at chennai which IMHO is not just
tamilnadu capital but also is a south regional centre comprising
telugus,mallus and kannadigas .
( remember potti sriramulu a telugu person wanted chennai to be andhra
pradesh capital :P )
Hence there shall be occasional mails/ replies in Tamil. New joiners-existing
list members who are of other kind are advised to make notice of this and
respect the freedom of localites.
The way you use the word 'other kind' is offensive and may also term
you as being 'racist'
There shall be some occasional lapses. Please do not jerk under such
situation.
By the way why is your tag '[tamil]' which is supposed to help people
separate emails also in tamil script ?
Having said all this . I appreciate your books , your Gnome , KDE
translations and great tamil team work done by you and the teams
formed by you .
All I ask is in a community if you also let us know ( in english) all
activities we would be more appreciative. Hence a translation for
each and every tamil mail you send is requested.
Also communities run by being friendly and sharing knowledge without
any barriers. Lets not make language a barrier among ourselves .
