[Ilugc] Not receiving my posts to ilugc

Are there any known problems with gmail + imap + thunderbird ?
as already mentioned there is an issue with gmail + evolution.
After searching around a bit, I found this,

"When you send a message to any mailing list you subscribe to, Gmail
automatically skips your inbox and archives the message to save you time
and prevent clutter. The message will appear in your inbox if someone
responds to it or if there is an error delivering the message. If you'd
like to view your message, you can find it in Sent Mail or All Mail."
How convenient, I no longer know whether a message is delivered in time
to the mailing list. I guess, I just have to enable ack in the mailing
list options and live with it, until I switch to a different MTA.
