Hi,
I have BSNL data one net connection, The speed off-late is getting worse,
often skype gets disconnection.
I checked with another friend of mine, he also feels the same.
Do any one (from chennai) experience similar experience.

I use OpenBSD's inbuilt caching DNS server and simply point the
nameserver to 127.0.0.1.
If it is Linux I use one of 4.2.2.2 or 8.8.8.8.
I could also point to the 192.168.1/24 address of my local OpenBSD box though.
I have been a big fan of BSNL and all sarkar stuff for a very long time.
And I bank on them for my biz. It has never let me down.
Nowadays BSNL experiences DNS problems, that is all.
No issues with speed or stability. It is better than my friend's
connection in New Jersey. ;)
I mean the gear that they use is much better since my friend always
got an Internet disconnect when he received a phone call.
Whereas the private players don't have the cash to spend on good gear like BSNL.
