We have run our Java community(http://jugchennai.in) for an year and we have
found that not many women had participated in our regular meeting. reasons
are many....
To accomplish this, we have planned to form a Java women community in
Chennai, run and managed only by women.http://jugchennai.in/jduchess/ This
group is part of International JDuchess group. http://jduchess.org/
Currently this group is a virtual forum, once we form a good number of
members and a active leader we plan to organize monthly meetings, workshop
etc.
Feel free to join both Facebook and Google group. The site give the
difference between 2 groups. We are currently selecting a good women lead
for this group. once its done then the real activity will be started.
If you are women and you live in and around Chennai and love to learn and
share Java experience feel free to join.
