Hi,
I'm having some trouble with my HP nx6110's screen... I am finding it
quite dull/dim... the white is not like proper white, its more of the
whiteness of a faded old white shirt... (even on maximum brightness)
So firstly can someone suggest me some software solutions? I tried
xgamma and displaycalibrator, but got poor results.. and the white
remained a bit dull...
A post on HP's forums, and I get the suggestion that I should not
compare my screen with another monitor... and that I should compare it
with an nx6110's screen... does anyone have an nx6110 or similar
model? Does anyone have any similar problems with it? Is it the case
that you're perfectly satisfied with its whiteness?
And just to be certain... this issue can't be a software issue can it?
(I don't want to install windows just for the sake of testing that:) )
