Hai to all
The discussion is going to be .. Maria Db is the replacement for Mysql ?
i think you did not research well there was a merger announce as recent as
23 rd of last month
http://www.skysql.com/news-and-events/press-releases/skysql-merges-with-mariadb-developers
Is it good or bad ? May i know how many companies migrated from Mysql to
Maria db?
forks tend to carry legacy code and most of the time they will be
compatible , until and unless i have something to work on and lots of time
to kill i would not bother digging the differences just for the sake of
argument.
Is it Maria Db supports all features of Mysql ? and of course Maria dbis
an open source one !webdevelopment ?
What about the storage engines in Maria db equals to MYISAM,INNODB in
mysql ?
which one is best db whether Maria Db or Mysql is good for
there is nothing like best , go with what you are comfortable with and what
your needs are .
