[Ilugc] [OT] Getting an Article published on Wikipedia

I would like to know if there are any guidelines to get an article
published on wikipedia. I was told that if the article is about "self
promotion", it will NOT be approved.

Anyone can write wikipedia articles.

Simple guideline. Article should give true information and data.
It should not be a advertisement.
