Hi,
The recent news in Hindu about people dying from
malnutrition in Niger and certain other regions of
Africa is heart-rendering. I have read the UN site
for more information and its apparent that the news
that we have is only the tip of the iceberg.
The UN site ( World food programme) is www.wfp.org and
there is link for online donation.
I was wondering if people might be interested in
helping. Other thing is that we might want to put a
link to their site on Lugc page. In my opinion, open
source is a cause and helping others is a cause too.
I hope others welcome this suggestion.
