Nice effort.
Last year we tried to create tamil wallpapers using the images in
creative commons license.

We stopped due to loss of interest and volunteers..
Release the images in creative commons license.
Why?

If possible,
create posters in Tamil also.
Make in vertical formats too so that people can set as mobile/tablet wallpapers.
Make images with Free Software related text and photos.
Share the source files too, so that any one can modify if they want.
