I have several MBA's in my family.
They all have jobs for big, stable corporations.
I like to tease such MBA's, saying they should really be called SBA's (
Slaves of Business Administration ).
I can only hope MBA's join big companies, hoping to learn complex systems,
and eventually start their own companies.
In the office of a start-up, I saw a painting in the interview room.
It was the picture of a huge rocket on its launchpad, pointed at the stars.
At the bottom of the rocket, was a tiny human figure.
If you looked closely, this tiny human had strapped himself/herself to the
huge rocket.
I joined this start-up, and worked for several others too.
That painting still explains enterprise to me.
Getting a stable job is a viable life strategy.
Entrepreneurs are insane people who want money.
Because "eccentric" = "insane" + "money"
If you are not insane, don't start a company.
Without insane passion, maybe you will turn out some mediocre
product/service.
Most likely, you will fail. It's not worth it.
If you are insanely passionate however, you will enjoy the journey and
learn from it.
"Fate protects fools, little children and ships named Enterprise"
