You can get these, but IMHO, SCSI is no longer competitive with
SATA for most applications.
* High-end Radeon/GeForce Cards
Available, for a price. Again, IMHO there's no point in buying a $600
bleeding-edge card when an entry-level Geforce 2MX or Geforce MX
can be had for $25, and can draw maybe around a billion polygons/sec.
* High-end Good Motherboards(not the el cheapo Korean ones)
Check out Delta Peripherals - they can provide Tyan dual-Opteron boards
against firm orders.
Hitech ( a PC surplus dealer across the road from Ritchie St.) has
surprises on occasion - like Emulex Fibre-Channel HBAs, Serverworks
PIII dual-processor server boards, Xeon boards, etc. Not necessarily
cutting-edge, but high-end nonetheless.
BTW, there are el-cheapo motherboards that are pretty well-engineered.
For instance, the Intel D845PESV, which supports just about any 400/533
FSB P4 is available locally for Rs.1650/-, new. The only problem is that
the CPUs it supports have been end-of-lifed by Intel to make way for
the Prescotts, so you'll have to look for a used P4 to plug into it.
