Yes.. Amachu alias ramdas is one of the staunch believer of Technology @
mother tongue..
I know him right before he joined NRC.. he is passionate, and core to his
belief, he follows it.
All his mails would be in tamil.. Initially i felt it as somewhat
inconvenient, but, later realised, that just wishful thinking is not enough
for bringing our wish..
We are so trained in English right from our LKG, such that, anything in our
mother tongue is alien..
I tried replying in tamil for few of his mails, and realised, that it needs
great effort to bring in to habit.. (ofcourse, we go by our habits.. if we
want to bring any change, make it as a habit)
Now i am aspiring to develop a software, with all related documents,
(requirements, design) in Tamil.. :) .. its all because of him
Regards,
Senthil Raja

Our current interviews features a Chennai-ite, works mostly on
translation for projects such as KDE-Tamil, Ubuntu-Tamil. He's famously
known by his IRC nick amachu and if there's something in Tamizh (as
actually pronounced in Tamil), amachu is likely associated with it.
Read on, to know more about Tamizh, translation and amachu.
