hi all,
Iam using Red Hat linux version 9, recently I installed Win XP!
1. It erased the GRUB
2. Tried reinstalling GRUB using rescue mode with the bootable RH CD.
3. Shows sysimage and iam able to change the root to it
4. When i install the GRUB its entering into GRUB mode
5. I exit the GRUB and REBOOTED the system,
But the grub is not getting installed, i don't know any other way to
proceed!
The command i used to reinstall was
---------------------------------------------------------
to change the root i gave -->
chroot /mnt/sysimage , and then
# grub -install /dev/hda
---------------------------------------------------------
is this command the right one? if yes its not working anyway! plz
reply if there is any other way!
