Hi,
We found that the apt-proxy cache is corrupted in the repository
machine and we deleted that. Now apt-get update is working fine.

Looks like Packages.bz2 is corrupt or partially downloaded. Try deleting it
from the apt-proxy cache on the server and it will be auto downloaded the
next time your run apt-get run on your client machines.
