I have a problem mounting my windows partitions on Red Hat 9. I have a
Seagate 80 GB Hard disk which has got Win 2000 Prof, Win XP Prof and
Redhat 9 installed on it. I have the windows partitions formatted using
the NTFS file system. When i try to mount the partitions on Red Hat 9 i
get an error which says NTFS is not supported. Please help me out.
Go to
http://linux-ntfs.sourceforge.net/rpm/redhat9.html
Depending on your kernel version please download the appropriate rpm and
install using rpm -ivh <kernel package>
then mount /dev/hdaX /mnt/ntfs where X is the number of your ntfs partition
I dont have a machine with an NTFS partition to demonstrate the same to you
so you would have to suffice with the above explanation
