Hi all,
I am planning to increase the maximum number of loop devices by editing
the kernel source. I need this for mounting Debian SID ISO images. I
plan to make it to 24 instead of default maximum 8.
I just wanted to know why the default maximum is 8. Are there any
performance issues if I number of loop devices exceed 8. Did anybody
increase beyond that and face any problem?
