The VNC server is now working. The only change I made
in the ~/.vnc/xstartup is
# Uncomment the following two lines for normal
desktop:
unset SESSION_MANAGER
exec /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc
I am now able to access my GNOME desktop from my
windows. I am using Real VNC server in Fedora and VNC
4.0 viewer in windows. It is able to connect only if I
specify the IP with port 3. 192.168.100.1:5901. Is
this can be corrected.
One info to share with you, the remote desktop is very
very clear and also fast than the remote desktop
connecton between Win XP to Win XP. (Note: In both
case I had set the resolution the highest available
for remote machine).
Thanks for guidence.
