Dear Members,
Warm greetings, As a part of SOFTWARE FREEDOM DAY -SEPT 10 we would
like to conduct our sequence of FOSS Demo's at various parts of
Chennai. From Street corners to petrol pump station,Schools and
Colleges, Shopping malls,Residential apartments,Industrial Estates we
are planning to have various programmes like demos,workshops,
lectures on FOSS , quizes in the above said avenues.
we have registered with SFD (www.softwarefreedomday.org) and looking
for more members to volunteer to contribute their time on the above
said any branch of activities.
As a part of the programme we are giving full free LINUX installation
for Home users and support for the next 3 months till sept 10.

This week we are targeting the schools and colleges to get permissions
for using their places as venues. We request anyone who can give
accommodation for 3hrs to conduct programme on FOSS in their place is
much appreciated.
As a part of localiazation we are planning our first presentation on
FOSS in tamil under the name "AGAM THERANDHA MENPORUTKKAL"
