ILUGC is not the entity here.. Members of ILUGC are organizing it.. But
ILUGC is a superset.
Further, like all other previous discussions (flamewars) we had, ILUGC
is about discussing Linux primarily and FOSS to some extent.
Also, carrying to the logical conclusion, if Deepan and I decide to do
a cricket tournament (for ILUGs) and start using ILUGC to discuss stuff,
all of you would be pointing out that ILUGC is not the right place and
you do not need to know what our logo is or how many balls we got. We
would reply saying that Deepan and I are members of ILUGC, so ILUGC is
organizing the tournament and hence we should discuss anything we want
on the mailing list. Next time, it will be a discussion on political
activity, language stuff and soon a free for all.
By the same logic, I am not organizing Fossconf and I do not want to
know the details. I am member of ILUGC because I use Linux and am
interested in its development.
Why should I get spammed with the details of Fossconf when it is not the
primary purpose of the mailing list? There is also something known as
"tyranny of the majority..." at which point this argument also
degenerates into another flamewar :)

the majority of physical volunteers are from ILUGC as well as members
of NRCFOSS are also (almost) the members of ILUGC. Why should we not
discuss about an event that ILUGC organizes in its mailing list?
