Hello all ILUGC members,
We, Computer Society of MIT, are planning to celebrate SFD with
the following events.
1. Multiplayer Games running on GNU/Linux
2. Video presentations on FOSS
3. Lectures
We have also planned to have Computer Society's inauguration function
at 9:00 AM.
Unlike Carte Blanche, we would like to have more fun related events
than technical demos in this year's SFD so as to give anyone who
attends that day a feel for FOSS and its abilities.
We would like to have any suggestions from ilugc on this regard about
games to be included, videos and lectures and also on how the events
could be marketed so as to reach all students.
General suggestions on whether any event could be added or on how they
could be conducted, are most welcome.
In addition, we would also like to have volunteers form ILUGC who are
interested in giving lectures that day.
I personally invite all LUG members to be a part of the celebration at MIT.
