Apolgies for butting in.
I had recoded the Structural Analysis program from Fortran to Pascal circa
1994.
It is a part of a product built by Indian Engineer for Indian
conditions. It is known as Build-Master by Ensoft Consultants, Mumbai.
Very inexpensive compared to Staad.
I am not sure it has FEA capabilities as due to DOS, I was forced to
recode it for only two node elements (Grid, truss and frame) It
generates drawings in DXF format.
I have to say it is proprietary. It's been a while since I had done
that and I have not checked recently whether it runs on Linux.
