If there's no requirement for archiving of posts I guess it's better not do
it (at least for now).
I think I can help with the SAASifying planet (or build a clone). I'm going
to add more details on the trello board
<https://trello.com/b/AOcJ4UuS/saas-version-of-rss-aggregation-software>
for the project.

Okay, I was looking into planet source more. It seems to generate only
*top
n posts* from various blogs. planet.gnome.org and planet.debian.net
seems
have only a single page worth of content going back upto mid Feb '17.
Is that how it's supposed to be?

This is the usual planet behavior.

It is not archiveing all the posts.
It just gets recent posts from RSS and shows in a page.

If any other software gives more features then planet, we can explore it
too.
