Hello all ILUG-C members..
The following topics have been decided upon for delivering talks
at Software Freedom Day at MIT on September 15th..
1. FOSS Philosophy
2. Why use FOSS in Education ?
3. FOSS activities in and around Chennai and Tamil Nadu
4. How one can contribute to FOSS ?
The audience that day would be mostly comprised of first timers and
beginners at Linux or any FOSS.. hence the choice of above topics...
I would like to invite all volunteers from our ILUG-C who would like
to give speeches on the
given topics... and also on any other topic on FOSS that they think
would be attractive for newbies..
Additionally hands on demos of FOSS games are also planned.
The talks would be in the afternoon session, Sep 15th, Saturday.
