Hi,
I thank the management and the engineers at the Trioz
Technologies, Coimbatore for giving me an opportunity to take a
training session on the above mentioned field.
Among other nifty details, the following major areas were covered:
nfsroot and cross development on targets such as x86 and ARM with
relevance to embedded systems - including tools and libraries needed.
Though I didn't go into the specifics of ARM, they were quick
enough to bring up a x86 target themselves; these new recruits were
purely embedded people with very little exposure to Linux at any
level. I am sure that after being exposed to Embedded Linux they now
have more options at their disposal.
The programme was for 7 days with 10 hours a day (Morning 7am to
evening 5pm) officially.
As a sidenote, they had some nice boards down there and I was
trying my best to get my hands dirty - variations of ARM/PPC cores.
Regards,
