Dear all,
Myself and Mr. Jai Sathish Kumar Ashok conducted a two days (December
3rd and 4th) FDP on FOSS for System admins / lab assistants in United
Institute of Technology (www.uit.ac.in). Nearly 25 participants from
various colleges attended the training programme.
For the next 3 months, I have planned to conduct a one day free FDP
(mainly focussing System Administrators / Lab Assistants) for all
engineering colleges in the coimbatore and surrounding regions in
setting up FOSS labs (The great news is that, at present many colleges
have started introducing FOSS OS/applications in the first year
itself) .
During the training programme, I am also providing all the FOSS
distributions/repositories to the institutions without any charges.
