Does not resolve/ping a host given in /etc/hosts file.
I know the problem is due to the --no-hosts switch in dnsmasq start up. It
seems like NM is starting a dnsmas instance with a dynamically generated
config file or switches from some NM config file. Unable to figure out
where it picks it up from.
Online docs have not been of much use either. Most of them talk of
installing explicitly spawned dnsmasq or pre-12.04 type resolution by
disabling dnsmasq in /etc/NetworkManager/NetworkManager.conf.
