Thanks for the efforts and update.
It would be nice if you could add the SCIM installation files with Tables
related to indic packages also seperately inside a folder. (SCIM gets
installed upon installating Ubuntu but the packages *
"scim-tables-additional"* with its dependency *"scim-modules-table"* do
not get installed by default). These contains the keyboard layouts of SCIM
for typing in Indian Languages. Also would request you to put the Remington
keyboard layout's source installation file developed by AUKBC-NRCFOSS for
Tamil.
If it is already available in Ubuntu Mirror please guide us.
The Synaptic Package Manager may not be a viable option for users who do not
have internet conectivity. If these files are made available for download,
then users can make a one time download from elsewhere and use the same in
their PC.
