I'm using gutsy gibbon, and am using ftp.iitm.ac.in mirror for upgrades.
I almost always get some 404 errors about files not being found. I
then end up doing --fix-missing (which sort of screwed my kernel
recently).
Can this issue be fixed?
i dont know; the ubuntu master mirror seems to be slow in sending us
updates, especially the gutsy packages. the daily syncs which used to take
4-6 hrs are now taking > 24 hrs, which is obviously going to pose
problems.
