[Ilugc] Unable to remove redundant linux-header 2.6.31-17 from booting.

  I just want to delete this entry from appearing on the boot screen.  When
I try to open menu.lst thru the terminal it is showing a blank screen
without any entry.

Can somebody guide me how to remove the redundant linux-header from the
booting screen?
