A live upgrade on a production box is generally a bad idea.
http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/FAQ has the recommended upgrade
procedures.


2) I want to Use Firewall for my Live Server. How will i configure this, what 
are ports do i need to enable. I have enabled following incoming ports in my 
server 21, 22, 25, 53, 68, 80, 110, 143, 443, 3306. How will i restrict more.

You might want to read up the administration and security guides at
http://redhat.com/docs. They are for RHEL but the principles apply to
Fedora too usually.
