[ilugc] Weird sound Ubuntu Karmic

If it sounds like glass shattering, it is most likely the default sounds
effects for closing windows. You can check this by going to
(from the main menu) "System->Preferences->Sound" and either changing the
sound theme or disabling it totally (I personally prefer disabling it).
Well...I disabled the sound notifications it as soon as I installed
Ubuntu. It isnt anything like shattering, its like what you get when
you hit a connected a mic with your finger. And my mic's muted but
there is still the disturbance.
All paid jobs absorb and degrade the mind.
