Sorry to be a distraction - but I need to say this:
Prashanth: I applaud your efforts at trying to organize something for your
college, but you should understand that you are talking to much senior folks
with expertise.
Also, they do not gain *anything* by conducting this workshop - it is for
your college. It would help to show respect to these generous folk whose
intention is to help you with knowledge.
It might be unintentional, but it would help if
- You address people by name/title before you begin the mail
- You call the people who responded and setup the conversation
Being humble helps - am hoping you dont mean to be rude, and these are
unintentional.
A proactive person like you has a bright future - consider these as learning
