* LUG RAISES R10 000 IN A DAY FOR FUTUREX STAND *
"The community is amazing," says Andrews. "I put out a mail on Cape
Town LUG, saying 'Your LUG needs you!' There were six individuals
who donated R1 000 each. That was stunning. They forked out R10 000
in the 1st day. That covered our base costs for Futurex. We printed
shirts and made our own furniture, and spent an additional R6 000 on
stationary stuff. We do try and sell some things on the stand, which
gives us pocket money to carry us through the year. I think we
