Hi,
cgi!? Like you want to make it easier to the expl0iter?
Follow the precautions you would normally have to for
such scripts. Make sure your script is fairly hard
to crack. Beyond that, all I could say.. if somebody
is *determined* to break into yours it's just a matter
of time before they actually do it.
Hosting a cgi script doesn't mean you are going to
announce that to the entire world anyway. Make it
accessible only to the probing server. IMHO, The
weakest point may not necessarily be a cgi script
but your own local machine. Somebody gaining access
to your machine can get the login details of your
remote accounts and could expl0it them as easily.
Anyway, I am asking out of curiosity..
Is their such thing as a non-exploitable solution?
