I got a pretty simple solution :back up ur existing Data,
take the linux distribution and install it, it will definetly have a Disk
Utility, and in with a gui or atleast ascii art. Use it and delete ur
windows partition and install your new linux... the new lin distro will
check for existing OSes and it will configure grub/lilo

hi all,
i have dual boot config with windowsXP and fedora core 2; with grub as boot
loader. i need to remove the windows and want to install any other linux
distro in that harddisk space. have googled but in vain. most of the results
describe how to uninstall linux from a dual boot with windows.
any pointers appreciated.
