[Ilugc] doesn't ssh-agent defeat the purpose of a passphrase

True, ssh-agent only avoids the need to type passphrases recently.
Also, If you want you can add a lifetime for the identify it holds.
You anticipated my next question :-) I leave my laptop in suspend mode when
the lid is closed and reboot maybe once a week. Without this feature, the
passphrase would be in memory for a week atleast.
