Good that you want to learn perl.
Learn UNIX, shell scripting and play with Linux.
Then perl becomes easy.
There are plenty of sites but you don't need them.
Just install perldoc and look at all the perldoc pages. Plenty of them.
perldoc perl
perldoc perlfaq{1,2,3,4,5,6}
perldoc perloo
perldoc perlintro
perldoc perltoot
perldoc perlbot
and so on
