this is available for public download and browsing. Please send me
your preferred username and password offlist so I can give you commit
rights. Kindly add all your material under the appropriate
subdirectories.
b) have noted the brochure ticket. while all of us try to do that,
would also like to create buttons and banners. so for that, may i
request a slogan/theme. since this is my third reminder, perhaps i
should start by recommending a slogan. if you don't like it, recommend
changes. if you don't, i'll author the buttons and banner with this
slogan:
"Share Knowledge With Open Hands"
looks ok to me. No harm in having more than one slogan. btw, can the
thamizh guys please create tamil version of all this?
re copyright. As far as I know, the copyright to a conference logo
should belong to the conference. Further, it cannot be 'shared' under
some license as the use of the same should be restricted to
situations relevant to the conference. That is, the logo can only be
used for conference publicity materials, and if it is used on any
website, the same must link back to the conference website.
Similarly, no one can modify or distribute the logo without approval
of the copyright owners - and such modification and distribution can
only be done to further the aims of the conference. As such the only
possible modifications would be changing the city name and date for
future conferences or changing the language of the text. You have
much more experience in these fields, so how would you like to deal
with this?
