Status of FOSSCONF-08
a.Posters and brochures being couriered schools, colleges and others.
If anyone requires they may please get it from NRCFOSS or from
Lynus Academy, Anna Nagar.
b.Bharati and me met Mr.Umashankar, MD ELCOT. Elcot will be sponsoring
Rs.1 lakh. He will help us in arranging a press conference few days
before conference.
c. We have approached few FOSS-Aware colleges to send a team of student
volunteers for the conference. We are waiting for the reply.
d. We are badly in need of lug volunteers to take tutorial sessions.
e. About 60 talks are registered so far. We are classifying them and
then by about 25th the timings of each will be announced.
