Why do they mention GDM, Galeon, Metacity, etc.,. individually? I
thought all gtk apps know how to read gtkrc and hence use the
appropriate theme. I've never used a ready made "theme" in a long time
now. All I do is edit ~/.gtkrc.
Apart from the GTK+ theme, each app contains there own specific
theme set, which include
* icons, spinners for Galeon, Epiphany, Nautilus
* GDM-theme for GDM
* Metacity window theme for Metacity
* themes for XMMS
* lots of icons and cursors
.. these are different from GTK+ themes which just describe the styles
and engines associated with widgets.
Installing ximian-artwork and friends is enough to get a Ximian
desktop look and feel.
