Welcome aboard!
i am really eager to learn more on linux(though i have worked onlinux, i
am not that techy as you people are). where should i startfrom. what
books or websites would you suggest for me.
I would recommend the following site to start with:
http://www.icon.co.za/~psheer/book/index.html.gz
Then, you can browse through online documentation (or download them)
from the following website:
http://www.tldp.org/
The following books are a few good ones that I recommend (if you
want to learn Linux not inclined to a specific distro, i.e.):
* Linux Administration Handbook (the green book)
- Evi Nemeth, Garth Snyder and Trent R. Hein.
* Running Linux (an O'Reilly series book)
- Matt Welsh, Matthias Kalle Dalheimer and Lar Kaufman.
* Linux Power tools (Sybex publishers)
- Roderick w. Smith.
Search for the above titles on amazon.com to know more. Of course,
there are many more good books and excellent websites that others
would recommend :-).
Good luck!
