I have downloaded and successfully installed oracle 10g express
edition,but i cant configure it, when i executed this cmd
"/etc/init.d/oracle-xe configure" showed an error "bash:
/etc/init.d/oracle-xe: No such file or directory" pls help me to
configure it,started using ubuntu few days before only, i dnt like to
go to windows for using oracle.
And also i have another question hope u guys will reply for this too,
in our college all lab systems are ubuntu(9.10) installed few days
before:) but i noticed many sytems got hanged frequently, i thought it
will be given lower swap space but when i saw into system monitor
found its assigned 3GB swap space, system config: core2duo,1GB RAM.
can u tell me wats the reason for this.. so that i can tell to lab
asst. and changes to be made
