as you said , i also got eclipse3.1 as zip file and i unziped and then get
into work but after wards i can't get into find and install menu ..
through this find and install only i can get BIRT and all other web
application project set up ..
do you understand my probs ..

How did you install Eclipse in FC4 ? From source, or as an RPM or using
yum ?
Generally, Eclipse can be run something like 'plug and play'. You need
to copy the folder and run.
If you have installed it through yum, use the same yum to remove the
package. If you have installed it using a package install manager of FC
then use the same to remove it. If you have compiled from source, then
you have to locate all the files belonging to it and remove them manually.
You can get the latest version of Eclipse in last month's LFY magazine
CD. just copy the folder and run.
